LEGO Group sets record sales and profit in 2025
The LEGO Group set a sales and profit record in 2025, with sales up 12 percent to 83.5 billion Danish kroner (about 4,300 billion forints) and net profit up 21 percent to 16.7 billion Danish kroner (DKK) compared to 2024, the company told MTI on Tuesday.
The announcement highlighted that the company’s sales increased by 16 percent, while the toy market as a whole grew by 7 percent expanded.
To support growth, the company continued to make significant investments in strategic initiatives and capacity expansion.
CEO Niels B. Christiansen said in a statement: “Our innovative and diverse portfolio, the strength of the LEGO brand and an efficient operating model have driven high demand. We have achieved this by being both creative in product innovation and efficient in operations, bringing the LEGO play experience to more children than ever before. While continuing to invest in future growth, we have launched our multi-year strategic investments and have achieved that more than 50 percent of the materials purchased for the production of LEGO bricks come from renewable and recycled sources. “.

The LEGO Group established its Hungarian manufacturing subsidiary, LEGO Manufacturing Kft., in Nyíregyháza in 2008, which currently employs 4,300 people. In September, they opened their new factory, built with an investment of 54 billion forints, which is the second largest LEGO factory in the world.
