Lánchíd Klub called on the companies to pool
For the surviving families of natural disasters, resumption and claim adjustment carries tremendous difficulties. In case one becomes a victim under more modest circumstances, without savings and insurance, the tragedy is even greater.
Manufacturers and traders of the FMCG market have always been famously helpful companies in the past, which will probably not change in the future. Members of the Lánchíd Klub have also joined the initiative for flood relief. Donations were delivered by vans offered by Lekkerland to Felsőzsolca, one of the neediest settlements. The flood victims and helped by the following companies: Bábolna Bio, Bonbonetti, Bonduelle, Buszesz, Ceres, Chio, Debreceni-hús, Detki Keksz, Fonte Verde, Kaiser Food, Ostoros-Novaj, Pick Szeged Ltd., Storck Hungária, Szilasfood and Univer Product.
Lánchíd Klub was founded in the fall of 2003 by 12 leaders who had been dominant professionals of the FMCG market in the retailers, manufacturers and service areas. Club members have organized food industry conferences annually since 2004, which have been organized with Trade magazine in cooperation since 2007. The Business Day event is going to be held on 29th September 2010 in Hotel Pelion, Tapolca.
