The rebound in household consumption may increase imports
Analysts interviewed by MTI told that due to the stronger household consumption, they expect a stronger growth in imports.
According to the Central Statistical Office’s (KSH) first estimate released on Wednesday, the export surplus increased to 691 million euros in January from the 345 million euros of December and was 184 million euros higher than the 507 million euros of the previous year. (MTI)
