The dog has become a full-fledged member of the family among Hungarians as well
Almost a third of Hungarian households have a dog, 65 percent of the owners consider their four-legged pet as a member of the family, and 16 percent even consider the dog a “furry child”.
With Christmas approaching, it is a particularly shocking fact that for 1 in 10 Hungarian dog owners, their pet is extremely important, even more important than everyone else in their lives – it was revealed in a recent survey supported by the Cofidis Dog Eyes program and carried out by ELTE TTK staff. However, the close bond not only raises questions in the field of human relations, but also does not always take into account the natural needs of the dog.
