Tesco is expanding in spite of the special tax
The commercial special tax, did not change Tesco’s long-term development strategy – told Per Bank CEO to Figyelő, who considers the burden unfair.
This tax is not fair and non-proportional – said Per Bank. Despite this, until the 20th of December the company transferred 12 billion HUF into the Hungarian budget. According to the CEO of Tesco; this amount is especially high in light of that Tesco's market share is 18 percent, but the company pays the 46 percent of the special taxes. The 6 largest international-owned itrading companies are paying more than 90 percent of this tax.
