In addition to the mandatory promotions, Tesco has slashed the prices of more than 600 new products
Even after the introduction of mandatory special offers, Tesco continues to reduce its prices in order to help Hungarian families with predictable and frugal shopping. Compared to the past, the supermarket chain is guaranteed to keep the prices of more than 900 frequently sought-after brand products permanently low, and also invests significantly in the base prices of more than 600 products that customers have been forced to give up because of the prices. In addition, Tesco provides thousands of consumer goods at long-term low prices, contributing to the reduction of household expenses and the stimulation of domestic consumption.
Even after the end of the mandatory promotions, Tesco supports the reduction of family expenses with low prices for thousands of food and non-food products.
“We do everything we can to offer our customers a cheap shopping option that can be planned in advance, regardless of the regulations, so that they can buy the goods that are most important to them in one place and at a predictable price. We don’t want our customers to have to make compromises because of the prices, so we are constantly expanding the product range of our Price Guarantee program, as well as introducing permanent price reductions for new and new product groups. From September, for example, we will invest in the prices of more than 600 consumer goods. We are confident that this will not only help Hungarian families, but will also stimulate domestic consumption and contribute to the increase in VAT revenues of the central budget.”
– said Nóra Hevesi, head of communications at Tesco-Global Zrt.
