Insurers must pay a claim advance for drought insurance within 14 days of reporting the claim. In addition to these tools, we want to reduce to 3 percent the annual interest rate of the Agrár Széchenyi Kártya Overdraft, which can be newly taken out by all livestock keepers and plant growers with drought damage certified by government agencies, with a maximum interest subsidy of 14 percent.
