Last year, the government issued tenders worth 2,000 billion HUF to farmers, food processors, viticulturists and winemakers, said the state secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture responsible for agriculture and rural development at a professional forum of the ministry and the National Chamber of Agriculture on Wednesday in Eger.

Two thousand billion forints in tender money helped agriculture and food processing last year

Prior to the discussion on the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy, Secretary of State Feldman Zsolt told MTI: the Renewable Countryside, Renewable Agriculture Program was launched last year, which aims to revitalize and strengthen the rural economy.

With the help of the available resources, they are helping farmers to switch to precision farming, and they are already spending more than 100 billion forints on the renewal of food processing. (MTI)
