The climate protection would bring economic recovery
The EU's ambitious climate protection objectives may result in new jobs and green economic recovery. According to the climate report of the European Commission; the reduction of greenhouse gases would be cheaper than expected.
The European Commission estimates that to reduce EU's CO2 emissions until 2020 by 20 percent, one-third less expenditure is really necessary, compared to the estimations of 2008, meaning the climate protection would cost 22 billion less euros.
If the European Commission decides to enhance the emission reduction targets, they would increase in the rate of reduction up to 30 percent – reports piacesprofit.
