The SMEs count on EU funds
Although the available EU funds in the 2007-2013 application cycle has been all tied up, and the new call for proposals have not yet appeared, the domestic SMEs are still optimistic regarding the EU tenders. Currently, half of the firms belive in receiving EU sources – the most recent datas of the K&H SME confidence index states.
The K&H interviewed 500 domestic SME leaders about the perceptions of the EU tender opportunities. “Our research shows that the perception of the EU's proposals has been improved. The EU sub-index of the K&H SME confidence index rose by about 10 points, so it is standing on 43 points currently. The improvement is due to the fact that half of the firms are obtaining to receive EU funds”- Németh László, head. of K&H’s SME marketing department added. (MTI)
