The NGM expects a further expansion in retail trade
Retail sales will significantly increase during the Christmas shopping season and in the coming months and years – the Deputy Minister of State of the National Economy Ministry (NGM) told M1 new channel on Monday commenting on the latest KSH data.
Marczinkó Zoltán said that in the next few years the increase in retail trade will be due to the wage agreement the government concluded with the social partners. As a result of the wage agreement, the income of households will significantly increase of which a significant part will be spent by the populationon on consumer spendings, including retail sales spendings – he explained.
