Tesco's self-service cashiers are succesful: it is expected that the smaller stores also introduce this method of payment. In Hungary, the system is operating in several hypermarkets.
The Tesco Global Stores Co. last year, installed self-service cashiers in its Dunakeszi-Fót store. The buyers can meet this cashiers also in Szeged – told Szabó Anita, the communications expert of Tesco Global Stores Co. At the first weekend, after the introduction nearly one-fifth of the traffic been realized through these cashiers – reports penzcentrum.hu.
