The Chinese New Year was good for McDonald's
Although McDonald's was ailing in its domestic market, the world's largest fast food network increased its turnover in the overseas countries.
In February, McDonald's, sales increased by 4.8 percent. The Chinese New Year, speeded up the sales in the Japanese and Australian stores also.
The fast-food restaurants initially benefited from the crisis, as consumers chose the cheaper menus instead of the more expensive restaurants.
