Cybersecurity investments also concentrate on AI
According to PwC’s 2026 Global Digital Trust Insights survey, companies will spend 36% of their cybersecurity resources on AI over the next 12 months, more than on cloud security (34%), network security (28%) and data protection (26%).

78% of respondents expect their cybersecurity budgets to increase, with one-third anticipating a 6-10% rise. The survey also revealed that the preparedness level of companies lags behind technological development.
