Instead of keto, vegan is now America’s favourite diet
A new study claims that for the first time in five years, plant-based diet is now more popular than keto in the USA. Keto – a diet low in carbohydrates and high in fat, which usually features more meat than average – has held the top spot since 2018. According to food magazine Chef’s Pencil, US citizens did 600 million diet-related searches via Google in 2022.
