On Tuesday, the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK) consulted with the Prime Minister in order to restart the trade and service sector as soon as possible. The chamber is committed to protecting human life by the need to accompany it with a well-structured economic relaunch plan that includes faster, targeted and highly responsible opening of shops and services – the advocacy told MTI on Tuesday.

As they wrote, the proposal is in line with the practice and measures of all EU Member States.

MKIK proposes the implementation of the so-called re-opening based on square meters in the retail sector, according to which it is recommended for one customer to stay every 5-10 square meters in the case of business premises. For stores larger than 100 square feet, 15 or 20 square meters can be per person as suggested by the chamber. (MTI)
