JYSK lowers its prices to stay competitive
Danish retail chain JYSK has started a significant price cut in order to remain affordable and competitive in the home furnishing market.
In a statement, the company explained that their primary goal is to be the first choice for customers when it comes to home furnishing products. In addition, they draw attention to the fact that due to the increase in costs, general uncertainty and inflation they are experiencing, prices are rising throughout the sector.
Jørgen Lund, JYSK’s executive vice president for marketing, sales and expansion, explained that the company has so far borne most of the costs in order to remain competitive on prices. In the spirit of this, they further reduced the prices of their popular products to make them even more attractive to customers. JYSK plans to expand the number of products from 1,200 to 1,500 by 2023, which will always be available at low prices.
