Well-chosen hygiene products provide not only safety, but also take you closer to your sustainability goals
During the pandemic high-level hygiene requirements became part of the lives of both partners and employees. At the same time more and more people are worried about climate change, and consider environmental aspects when choosing a service provider or workplace.
For Tork, a leading market player in the hygiene industry, sustainability isn’t just a slogan but a corporate philosophy that has three pillars: well-being, responsible consumption and circular economy. What does this mean in practice?
As part of the Tork Clean Care™ programme, the company shares tips and best practices with businesses – in 2018 more than 175,000 people learned about proper hand hygiene. Napkin dispenser Tork Xpressnap Fit® can contribute to responsible consumption, as by using this solution 50 percent fewer napkins are taken and then left unused. The packaging of Tork products are made of 90 percent recycled material, and our objective is to increase this to 100 percent in 3 years’ time – this is the reason why we have recently launched the Tork PaperCircle® initiative, which gives new life to used bath tissue.
