The wines of the Carpathian Basin were also presented on the Croatian coast
The 2023 edition of the event series called Kincses Pince, supported and coordinated by the Ministry of Agriculture, in Crikvenica, Croatia, attracted a large number of visitors. For two days, the guests of the popular resort town on the coast of the Adriatic Sea were able to get to know the excellent wines made by the Hungarian winemakers of the Carpathian Basin.

The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Oszkár Ökrös, Deputy State Secretary responsible for international relations, who, on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture, praised the event, which was realized within the framework of the Schams Ferenc Plan. The initiative serves the development and sometimes revival of the Hungarian wine culture of the Carpathian Basin, and the Hungarian government also supports the development of the historic Hungarian wine regions and the prosperity of the Hungarian wine community beyond the border in its homeland. “Our goal this year was to create an outstanding professional wine meeting and festival covering the Carpathian Basin, where the present Hungarian winemakers can introduce their wines to each other and to the international audience, thereby enhancing the reputation of Hungarian wine culture and the unified Carpathian Basin. the deputy state secretary said in his speech. At the opening of the Kincses Pince, Majdak Tugomir, State Secretary of the Croatian Ministry of Agriculture, Rukavina Damir, Mayor of Crikvenica, Marijana Biondić, Director of the Tourist Association of the City of Crikvenica, and the President of the Croatian partner organization of the Ministry of Agriculture, the HMDK Farmers’ Circle, as well as the local organizer Attila Szabó, greeted the 19 exhibiting wineries. , and wine association representatives, who came to the festival from Hungarian-inhabited regions of six countries, as well as from the motherland.
