Only half of households have a reserve for 2 months, according to a survey
Only half of Hungarian employees have enough reserves for 2 months, while those who have recently lost their jobs are reserved for an average of 3 months, according to a survey released by BNP Paribas Cardif and Median on Tuesday.
The importance of financial reserves was highlighted because almost a third of workers were affected by some type of income decline related to the pandemic.
According to feedback, 10 percent have lost their jobs, 8 percent can only work part-time, 11 percent are forced to do more jobs due to redundancies, and even the most disadvantaged would survive up to 5 months without income, they wrote. (MTI)
