Domestic success is not a guarantee in the foreign markets
While Hungarians feel enthusiasm towards the túró rudi, the Tokaji wine, and for other well-known, domestic products, it is not certain that these products will be succesful abroad.
Tokaj: Hungarian wine is not yet trendy
“The Tokaj Trading House Ltd. sells 7.5-8, million bottles annually of which 3 million in abroad from selling in a total of 24 countries” – said dr. Kiss István, the company's CEO. “Most of the exported wines, 2.5 million bottles are distributed traditionally to the markets of the Eastern European countries.” – reports nicafe.hu.
