The “counterfeiting industry” is dynamically growing in the world: the damage done is 900 billion USD this year, compared with the 250 billion USD of 2007 – said Simándi Andrea, leader of the Simándi Bird & Bird law firm, at a press conference in Budapest
While in the European Union ten years ago, 10 million pieces of counterfeit goods were seized, in 2009 this figure reached 117 million.
