PET Cup and Diageo continue their CALL-Action programme despite the war
About 3 million tonnes of waste accumulated in Ukraine’s Kárpátalja region, due to a lack of waste management systems. This waste pollutes the river Tisza and its tributaries very much – both in Ukraine and in Hungary. PET Cup and Diageo launched their CALL-Action programme early last year, as part of which 724 tonnes of waste was collected and an educational campaign also took place; the programme continues in 2023. //
