Frequent colds can even be a sign of burnout
In the rush at the end of the year, it can easily escape our attention if colleagues show symptoms of burnout. Losing the motivation of the workforce can pose a risk to the company’s future results. It is therefore worth paying attention to tell-tale signs such as frequent colds or heated arguments among colleagues, so that we can take the necessary steps in time to regain their motivation. The head of K&H HR advises on this.
As the end of the year approaches, everyone is making one last scramble to wrap up this year’s projects before the Christmas break. However, this could easily distract from a longer-term burnout process that could cause unpleasant surprises in 2024 or beyond.
“Physical and mental balance can be overshadowed by many factors in the rush of everyday life, and the events of recent years have only intensified this. However, in order for the company to operate efficiently next year and to be able to count on our colleagues with peace of mind, it is important to pay attention to the telltale signs. Whether it occurs temporarily or permanently, because burnout must be acted upon as soon as possible – in fact, ideally it can be prevented”
– stressed Leila Medvey, K&H’s HR director.
