GVH satisfied with the launch of the price monitoring system
Since 1 July the price of monitored food products has decreased by nearly 7% on average, thanks to the online price monitor, which could have a 1.8 percentage point mitigating effect on food inflation, said Csaba Balázs Rigó, president of the Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH), in the morning show of news channel M1 on 27 July. The average prices of products in 53 out of 62 product categories have dropped.
