Gundel launches its Celebrity Menu series

On the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the Gundel Palace and true to Gundel’s mission, the owners and managers of Gundel make available and share with everyone the experiences of the famous guests of the long-ago restaurant, recalling the memorable flavors even decades later.

Gundel is famous for so many things. It is famous for its recipes that define Hungarian gastronomy, its centuries-old hospitality and social sensibility – and it is also famous for its famous guests. The visits of royal and ecclesiastical dignitaries, princes, politicians, and world stars enrich the history of the 130-year-old Gundel Palace. And the well-known guests enjoyed special menu items that were not available to others – until now.

Now, however, Gundel is launching the Celebrity Menu series.

The first such is II. The four-crown menu, served at a reception in honor of Queen Elizabeth, will be available to anyone in a few weeks – in the form of a dinner, with a simple table reservation:
