GKI raised its GDP forecast to 4.5 percent this year
After the third quarter’s 4.8 percent increase, which is one of the fastest growth in the EU, GKI has raised its forecast for GDP this year, from 4.2 to 4.5 percent as other forecasters, but maintains a 3.2 percent for its expectations for 2019 – GKI told MTI.
The economics researcher has justified its unchanged forecast for next year as the dynamism of EU transfers is declining, the global economic outlook is more uncertain, and there is still no prospect of improving competitiveness. This year inflation is accelerating, external and internal balance is worsening, and in 2019 no turning point is expected. (MTI)
