EU support for farmers should be in line with the environmental requirements
The agricultural sector should also contribute to environmental protection and the fight against climate change, but a proper balance needs to be found between the environmental ambition level of the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and the size of available EU funds – Feldman Zsolt, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) said on Monday at the meeting of the Agriculture and Fisheries Council in Luxembourg.
According to the statement of the Ministry of Agriculture, the EU agriculture ministers discussed the new environment and climate protection system for the post-2020 Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) at the meeting. (MTI)
