The freighters request the restoration of the 18 years age limit from the European Commission
The National Freighters’ Industrial Corporation of Private Entrepreneurs (NiT Hungary) turned to the European Commission (EC) and requested the restoration of the 18 years age limit in order to eliminate the truck driver- deficit – the advocacy association told MTI.
According to the data, currently 6800 drivers are missing from the sector.The organization asks for the investigation of the matter and to solve the problem, as it is likely to affect several EU Member States. (MTI)
