Carrier interest organizations are calling for a 15 to 20 percent increase in premium rates
The NiT Hungary and the Hungarian Road Freight Association (MKFE) recommended the immediate increase of freight rates by 15-20 percent – the representatives of trade unions announced at a joint press conference in Budapest on Tuesday.
Szabó György, President of MKFE highlighted that the costs of carriers increased significantly, insurance fees increased by 3-4 fold, fuel prices doubled, tolls increase steadily, vehicle components and wages increased considerably. (MTI)
