The Hungarian Bath Association urges VAT reduction on bath and spa services
The Hungarian Bath Association welcomes the decision that a 18 percent VAT rate will pertain on accommodation services and catering services in 2017, but they think that the baths would deserve lower VAT as well – the association told MTI on Wednesday.
The organization emphasizes that the Hungarian baths and their services are the main attraction in several settlements. The Hungarian Bath Association's position is that the spa services must reach the conditions and the economic environment of the accommodation and catering services to serve the clients on the same level.
