France’s Lactalis buys Italian cheese maker Ambrosi
French dairy group Lactalis has bought Ambrosi from Switzerland’s Emmi. The parties didn’t reveal the purchase price, but a source told Reuters: the deal gives Ambrosi an enterprise value of about EUR 300m, and makes it possible for Lactalis to expand its product selection and create several production synergies.
