More guest in the hotels during the Formula 1, than in last year
During the Formula-1 Hungarian Grand Prix the occupancy of the Budapest hotels increased by 11.8%, compared to last year. The average price decreased by 6%, so the room price income per room, rose by 8.5% – reports the Hungarian Hotel Association.
According to the Hungarian Hotel Association; The increased number of guests spent more money in the hotels, increasing the total turnover. The trade organization commented, that in the impoving occupancy datas of the hotels, during the 2010 Formula-1 Hungarian Grand Prix, the extremely weak 2009 datas played a major role.
