The foodpanda conquered Ecuador
After the acquisition of the market leader Russian Delivery Club, the foodpanda now strengthened its presence in Latin America: The company purchased the most popular food ordering platform of Ecuador, the deliYami (www.deliyami.com). The market leader deliYami began operations in 2012 and is present in the two largest cities (Quito and Guayaquil), in the South American country.
The foodpanda services after the Ecuadorian market entry are available in 46 countries worldwide, including seven Latin American countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and the aforementioned new market, Ecuador. It is interesting that in the Latin American countries, the foodpanda is operating under the hellofood name, so deliYam will also be renamed to hellofood (www.hellofood.com.ec).
