Fruit prices increased the most
Agricultural product prices significantly elevated in the past year. The production price level of agricultural products was 31 percent higher in November 2010 than a year earlier: vegetable product prices soared by 45 percent and the prices of livestock and products of animal origin grew by 11 percent – reported KSH. The production price of cereals was 52 percent above the level of November 2009. Wheat’s procurement price was HUF 51,300 – it has been growing since April. Potato prices were up 60 percent and vegetables cost 20 percent more than in November 2009. The production price of fruits was 119 percent above last November’s level. Slaughter livestock prices were 9.1 percent higher.
