The Payment Point (Fizetési Pont) has introduced a new card electronic payment solution in Hungary: with the so-called SoftPOS technology, it is possible to make a credit card purchase transaction without a POS terminal by using a smartphone, the POS terminal operator told MTI on Thursday.
It has been announced that downloading the Payment Point SoftPOS mobile application and concluding the contract will immediately enable the Payment Point partners to accept electronic card payments.
The Payment Point is the only POS terminal provider in Hungary that provides 80,000 HUF in non-refundable state support in the Ministry of Finance’s (PM) POS terminal installation program. The company also provides support for using the SoftPOS virtual POS terminal, the company said. (MTI)
