The pálinka is popular among young people
Young Hungarians consume pálinka mostly on the occasion of social gatherings. The family events, house parties, friendly toasts are the most inspiring situations to consume the distillate – the research of NRC Marketingkutató és Tanácsadó Kft. reveals.
The results of a representative survey are not negligible among the 18-39-year-old Hungarian population, since 45 percent of the age group consume pálinka at least occasionally. The majority of young people can be encouraged to consume pálinka by mostly a good group of friends, and pleasant atmosphere coupled with it.
Whether we consume pálinka or not, almost 90 percent of the young people agree with the statement that the pálinka is a hungaricum. Let's be proud of it! (nrc.hu)
