LG opened its exhibition stand at the 2023 IFA under the title Sustainable life is joy for everyone
At the 2023 IFA exhibition, LG Electronics (LG) will present its ideas for an environmentally conscious lifestyle in the framework of a sustainable settlement concept (LG Sustainable Village). The design and design elements of LG’s sustainable village echo the key elements of the company’s ESG strategy: the stand is made of environmentally friendly materials, including recycled fabrics and materials, so that the environmental footprint of the built structure is as small as possible.
Visitors to LG’s stand can see smart home solutions that make everyday household activities more sustainable. In addition to the sustainable smart house called Smart Cottage, you can also get to know high-end, energy-efficient appliances, household appliances equipped with customizable functions, as well as premium appliances and services aimed at the European market.
The Smart Cottage, visible right at the booth entrance, is a compact, prefabricated home with a smart system consisting of roof-mounted 4 kilowatt (kW) solar panels, the company’s energy-efficient Therma V™ R290 Monobloc air-to-water heat pump, and a number of smart home appliances. The latter include LG’s WashTower washing machine, built-in oven, QuadWash™ dishwasher, induction electric stove and water purifier.
