Tourism is a key component of rural development
One of the key elements of the National Rural Strategy is rural and farm tourism, which might turn out to be a breaking point for rural development – József Ángyán, state secretary of Rural Development pointed out within the compass of a meeting of Agricultural Tourism Association (FATOSZ) on Wednesday in Budapest.
Ángyán stressed that the ministry supports any initiative that helps rural employment growth, strenghtens local communities and rural economy in general. The main goal is to help local food enter the market and promote moseic-farmingm and tourism is a great facilitator when it comes to all the above-mentioned issues.
