Less was consumed from more expensive wines
In the first 11 months of the year, the demand towards white wines decreased by five percent in Hungary, while towards red and rosé wines by 1 percent.
The selling price of wines produced domestically increased by 4 percent per liter, to 262.34 HUF per hectolitre in the January to November 2016 period, compared to the same period of the previous year. The price of white wines increased by 3 percent to 243.50 HUF, while the price of red and rosé wines increased by four percent to 286.64 per HUF hectolitre in the same comparison. (by our colleague)
