Digital and sustainability investments have the potential to create millions of jobs in Europe by 2030
The communication highlights that, thanks to the stability of key industries in Europe, everything is in place to exploit future growth opportunities. If we add investment in digitization and sustainability to this, we can increase employment. As they wrote, in 2020, the pandemic caused the loss of 3.5 million jobs in Europe, despite strong leave programs. The number of jobs could return to pre-crisis levels by 2023. The main job creators will be the following industries: industrial equipment, high technology, software, utilities, automotive, life sciences, communication / media. (MTI)
