In order to ensure the responsible and predictable use of resources and a thorough, professionally based evaluation of the applications received, the Demján Sándor Capital Program (DSTP) will temporarily suspend the acceptance of new applications from January 16, 2026. DSTP is a program launched by the Ministry of National Economy, which was undertaken by the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, while its operational implementation is carried out by MKIK Capital Fund Management Co., Ltd.

The decision applies exclusively to the submission of new applications, the evaluation of ongoing applications is ongoing, and the operation of the program is uninterrupted. The temporary suspension of applications is a milestone in the life of the program: it indicates that the Demján Sándor Capital Program and regional chamber cooperation have brought tangible results for domestic businesses.

The current pace of applications suggests that the available funds may be exhausted earlier than expected. This increased activity confirms not only the trust in the program, but also the effectiveness of the chamber network’s role in addressing and activating businesses.

The investment period of the program will continue until June 30, 2026, or until the available funds are exhausted. However, in recent months – among other things, as a result of the 19-stop professional roadshow based on the national chamber network and the accompanying communication – there has been much greater interest in the program than expected.

DSTP has aroused outstanding interest among domestic entrepreneurs in a short time. The high number of applications received is a clear indication that the program responds to a real market need and offers substantial growth opportunities for Hungarian small and medium-sized enterprises. Based on the pre-screening, more than 1,000 enterprises met the program’s eligibility criteria.

MKIK Capital Management Co., which operates the Demján Sándor Capital Program, will inform interested parties in advance of the opening of the next application opportunity.
