Pike, perch and German bass compete for the fish of the year title
Pike, perch and German bass are competing for the fish of the year title, the Hungarian Fish Society told MTI on Sunday.
According to the communication, a vote has begun on fish for the year 2020, aimed at “raising awareness of our indigenous fish”.
The Hungarian Fish Society has now nominated three species as candidates, two of which are eligible, one protected. Votes are expected on December 31 at noon to the website of the society: (http://haltanitarsasag.hu/azevhala_hu.php). (MTI)
