Majority of the firms in the Czech Republic are domestic-owned
Nearly 57 percent of the 2.1 billion crowns capital of the companies in theCzech Republic is in the hands of Czech-owned companies – reports Čekija.
The largest foreign shareholders are the Dutch, Germans and Austrians. Twenty-five percent of the capital of the Czech companies is in Dutch hands, 12 percent German, 10 percent is in the hands of Austrian-owned firms.
In spite of the crisis, the share of foreign capital is increasing in the Czech Republic. In retail trade and services an increasing number of Russian, Ukrainian and Chinese capital is present – reports ProfitLine.hu.
