The Czechs still like to purchase abroad
More than a quarter of the Czechs regularly goes shopping abroad.
The Czechs buy mostly clothing, food and consumer electronic goods in the neighboring countries, in Poland, Germany and Austria – shows the February survey of the IBRS agency.
According to the survey, among the neighboring countries Slovakia is the only one that is not a shopping destination for the Czechs, because prices are generally higher there, and the supply of goods is also poorer than in the Czech Republic. According to the Czechs, many things are cheaper and have better quality in Poland, Germany and Austria, and the range is also wider than in the Czech Republic. (MTI)
