The Czechs rather travel domestically this year
A drop occured in the number Czechs choosing foreign holidays this year. The tourism experts explain the decrease mainly by the deteriorating international security.
According to the national survey of the STEM/MARK agency published on Monday, this year 48 percent of the Czechs plan a holiday in the Czech Republic, while last year this figure was 32 percent. The third of those surveyed are planning a short vacation abroad. 16 percent of Czechs plan ten days longer holidays abroad, 6 percent less than in 2015. (Kokes János, MTI)
