The grape harvest starts in Europe with the Csabagyöngye grape
The grape harvest has begun in Europe with the Csabagyöngye early ripening grape variety in Ordacsehi. A good crop is expected this year. The takeover price of the the grapes will not change – Varga Bálint, the managing director of Varga Winery told on Thursday.

“The Csabagyöngye is the first-ripening grape variety in Europe and in the northern hemisphere. It is a Hungarian peculiarity that the harvest can be started in late July, early August. The next grape that can be harvested will be the Irsai, which is a Hungarikum as well.” – he added. (MTI)
