COOP opts for the Visma Retail system

Based on Szintézis Informatics Zrt.’s recommendation, CO-OP Hungary Zrt. has chosen the Visma Retail POS system. The three parties signed a cooperation agreement on 9 June 2016, on the complete renewal of the COOP group’s retail IT system. CO-OP Hungary CEO Géza Tóth told that the new system will make trading processes more efficient and franchise partners more profitable from the second half of 2017. Shoppers will also feel the Visma system’s advantages, for instance by being part of a more modern loyalty system.
