Last year, Budapest Airport further reduced its carbon dioxide emissions
Budapest Airport further reduced its direct carbon dioxide emissions in 2021, which halved the level of ten years ago, while emissions per passenger are only one-third of the 2011 level, the company operating the Ferenc Liszt International Airport told MTI on Tuesday.
It was emphasized that Budapest Airport set the primary goal in 2021 to achieve net zero emissions 15 years earlier than its previous commitment, by 2035 at the latest, which it will implement along the so-called zero carbon schedule. (MTI)
