Budapest Airport has spent 167 million euros on the development of the airport in two years
Budapest Airport has made 167 million euros worth of investments at the Liszt Ferenc International Airport in the last two years. Only in 2020 it invested 74 million euros in developments, bringing forward projects in several cases that were favored by low passenger traffic, Budapest Airport told MTI on Tuesday.
An example of the huge investments made in the recent period was the air cargo handling complex BUD Cargo City, which was handed over at the end of 2019, and the development increased the airport’s annual air cargo handling capacity to 250,000 tons per year. The second phase of the 50 million euros investment so far is being prepared this year. (MTI)
